Dolphins is a vinyl only release, limited to 750 copies worldwide with free download coupon.
Making their first appearance since their acclaimed 2010 album "Steal Your Face" and the departure of bassist Jacob Long, the newly re-birthed Mi Ami deliver an album of damaged techno with "Dolphins".
"Dolphins" was recorded in San Francisco by Phil Manley (Trans Am) and mastered by Dave Cooley at Elysian Masters in Los Angeles (Madvillain, Prefuse 73, J-Dilla).
Besides their constant work in Mi Ami, Daniel keeps busy with his solo project Sex Worker (Not Not Fun) and Damon is a member of the band Jonas Reinhardt (Kranky).
A brand-new British record label, 40 years in the making, introducing fans of psychedelic / jazz / folk / funk / avant-garde and whacked-out movie musak to a lost world of undiscovered vinyl artifacts from the annals of alternative pop history.
Volume four is compiled by Gruff Rhys and features an exclusive track by S.P. Balasubramaniyam / K.S. Chitra / Ilaiyaraaja taken from forthcoming K.S. Chitra EP.
